Open Space (online group breathwork journey)

This is an open space to set an intention and breathe life into it. We start by welcoming everyone into the space, setting your intention, going over what to expect and learning the pattern. This call is based around your body and its needs and is suitable for new and experienced breathers - basically anyone who feels called to come back to themselves.

What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is an active meditation. We use the breath to connect more deeply with our physical, mental and spiritual bodies. During a breathwork journey we use the breath to move stuck energy so we can heal and transform.

Breathwork is a form of bottom-up healing – healing from the body rather than the mind. It is a holistic practice using conscious and connected breath to eliminate emotional and physical blocks, stimulate energy and improve your self-connection while also bringing a sense of presence, relaxation and mental clarity.

Why Breathe?

Use your breath to process, integrate, connect, heal and release – find what it is you need. Breathwork allows us to work with the nervous system. Through consciously altering our breath we can activate and regulate the nervous system which allows us to build tolerance for stress in our life.

Benefits of Breathwork:

There are many benefits to a regular breathwork practice, some of them include:

  • Reduce stress and help with the emotions associated with anxiety and depression

  • Improve digestion, sleep, and lung capacity

  • Reduce chronic pain

  • Promote creativity, inspiration and potentially insights or “downloads”

  • Reconnect with your intuition

  • Prolong focus and concentration

  • Increase energy levels and reduce fatigue

  • Awareness of emotions

  • Nervous system regulation

Breathwork also provides us with a safe space to practice what we need in life - whether that is taking up space, using our voice, or listening to and responding to the needs and cues of your body. Breathwork allows us to integrate and explore without judgement.

You are always in control. Let your body lead the way, there’s no knowing exactly what will arise in a breathwork session, but you can be guaranteed that it will be whatever serves you best in this moment.

Setting up your space:

Find a private place where you feel comfortable to move, make sounds and are not in water or operating heavy machines etc.

You’ll want to be laying down so a bed, couch or a yoga mat on the floor is perfect. It would be beneficial to have a journal or notebook nearby to use during integration at the end of a session.

You may want to make your space more comfortable with lip balm, essential oils, crystals, candles, an eye mask, blankets (you may experience changes in temperature).

Ensure you have a stable internet connection (if a virtual session) with adequate charging on your device or plugged in.

What to wear:

  • Loose clothing is recommended, dress comfortably

Before a session:

  • Refrain from eating at least an hour before the session & minimize water intake

  • Please check the health waiver and note the counterindications of breathwork. You will need to sign the health waiver before the session either online or in person at the studio.

Listening Circle

Listening Circle

Stories are powerful things.

They remind us, teach us and allow us to share with others.

In this listening circle, come as you are. Each month will be a different theme such as: forgiveness, resiliency, grief, finding joy, letting go, empowerment etc.

You will be prompted to share a story, as well as to witness others as they share (and be witnessed in return). There is always the option to share silence or simply to lend your presence without sharing at all. You are welcome to come as you are.

The circles are not recorded, and anything shared in the circle is to remain there (no sharing or repeating what others have said). Confidentiality is important.

By agreeing to attend and participate in the circle, you are agreeing to confidentiality.

Breathwork for nurturing a loving relationship to yourself

Breathwork for nurturing a loving relationship to yourself

Breathwork is like an active meditation, one where you put conscious attention on your breath and breathing in a specific and intentional way. Doing so allows you to get out of your head and into your body. In this workshop, you’ll breath with the intention of connecting and moving through the different levels of connection - the mental (mind), the physical (body), and perhaps even the spiritual (consciousness).

We will begin by welcoming and setting up the space with intentionality. We will go over what to expect with breathwork, learn the breath pattern for this practice, and settle into a guided meditation and grounding before beginning to breathe. Once we go into active breathing, you will be supported and cued throughout the journey. After the breathwork there will be time for integration so that any messages, insights or realizations can come through (you’re welcome to bring a journal for this part!).

Those who are new or experienced in breathwork are welcome as this is a body led approach - meaning your body decides how deep you go into the practice.
